How long have you been a photographer:
7 years… I left a VERY nice job in finance to start my own business and I can remember the first time I said out loud that I was a professional photographer. I thought the police were going to come and shine a light on me as someone who was pretending to be something I wasn’t. It took me awhile to wear that title with ease and better yet, to be able to say it with pride and confidence. I started out not knowing even what an 8×10 was… crazy to think about that now. Now photography is part of who I am and I love every minute of it.

I have been a professional photographer, that is, running my own studio, for about a year now, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography in mid 2008 from California Institute of the Arts (CalARTS) in Santa Clarita, California. Even before that I had the chance to go to an arts centered high school which is where I first discovered my love and passion for photography, I studied photography there for three years. In all I have been working on my skills as a photographer for about 8 years now. I have been so blessed to be able to center my attention and hone my skills and creativity since a young age.

As a photographer, what is your most important objective when shooting? Very simply, your client and capturing what they want to remember forever is the most important objective. Doesn’t matter if it’s a wedding or a portrait session, your client is number one.
